We are proud to partner with New York Common Pantry to support the wellbeing of our school community through their Mobile Food Pantry program. Each month, families receive free, nutritious food bags along with access to confidential case management services—helping to address not only immediate needs, but also connect families to longer-term supports.

Distribution days are especially meaningful, as students play an active role in giving back. They help unload, sort, and organize food deliveries, ensuring everything is ready for smooth and respectful distribution. This hands-on involvement allows students to contribute directly to the care of their community while taking pride in being part of a collective effort.

Beyond the logistical support, these experiences foster important social-emotional growth. Students gain a deeper understanding of food insecurity and the challenges many families face, while building empathy, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. By engaging in service, they see firsthand how small actions can make a meaningful difference—strengthening both their connection to others and their confidence in their ability to create positive change.
