World Mental Health Day takes place every year on 10 October. It’s a reminder of the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritize and invest in good mental health.

Counseling in Schools staff attended the Kate Spade New York 2025 Global Mental Health Summit for Women as proud Kate Spade Mental Health Partners. Through Kate Spade’s generous support, CIS sustains Familia Adelante —a family-centered, culturally responsive program that strengthens emotional well-being, reduces stress, and builds resilience among LatinX youth and families in underserved communities.

Held in New York City on October 10, 2025, the fourth annual Global Summit on Women’s Mental Health brought together advocates, celebrities, and mental health experts—including Tara Davis-Woodhall, Alyson Stoner, and Kenneth Cole—for a full day of conversations at the intersection of women’s mental health and empowerment. Panel discussions explored topics such as “The Duos: Friendship,” “Reconnecting to Authenticity,” and “Healing Overwhelm and Trauma.”

The event underscored Kate Spade New York’s ongoing commitment to advancing women’s mental health globally—highlighting its partnership with the Global Fund for Women’s Mental Health and its ambitious goal to reach 250,000 women and girls with access to community-centered mental health services by 2030.

The Summit also built on the recent launch of Kate Spade New York’s Fall 2025 global campaign—starring Ice Spice, Charli D’Amelio, Laufey, and Reign Judge—which celebrates friendship, authenticity, and the joy of coming together.
