We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: CIS has been named a 2026 NYC Imagine Awards Finalist! This recognition celebrates the incredible work of nonprofit organizations across New York City—and we’re honored to have CIS recognized alongside organizations making a meaningful difference in our communities.
But there’s even more exciting news: CIS has also been selected to participate in the NYC Imagine Awards Fan Favorite Campaign! Beginning August 28 through September 25, our community will have the chance to vote for CIS, with the winning organization receiving an additional $3,000 to support its mission.
This is where you come in! We’re asking our staff, volunteers, supporters, families, friends, partners, and entire CIS community to rally behind us and help spread the word. Every vote is an opportunity to shine a light on the importance of school-based mental health and youth development—and the transformative work happening every day across NYC schools.
